With approximately 1,100 businesses; the City of Centerville continues to attract new businesses while continuing to support the continued health, welfare, and growth of its business partners. 

The economic development policy of the City has been guided by a progressive city administration, intelligent development regulations and sensible land planning and growth policies.  Day-to-day operations of the City are directed by an appointed City Manager who implements the policies adopted by an elected Mayor and City Council.  The City provides one-stop shopping with permits, licenses and plan review all centrally located.
